i'm a big fan of the latest trend of fringe, and of course, any fan of fringe would delight in this bag. however, as a bag-a-holic, forever21 cannot fool me.

don't these look familiar? well, duh. gucci released their babouska line spring 2008. just because gucci released this bag last year doesn't mean you can copy it, forever21. i know some people will argue that their clothes also copy blah blah blah whatever. forever21's line of handbags are no different to the illegal replicas being sold on the internet and corner shops. it just makes me mad that they do these kind of things.

but if you do choose to support forever21 and their lack of creativity and intelligence, the bag is $34 whereas the gucci babouska shoulder bag is $2290. honestly, if you're looking for street cred, get a job and save for the gucci. but if i see you with the replica... shame on you. i'm pretty sure there's going to be a lawsuit filed against forever21 (not like this was the first time).

blow me away.

i can't help but laugh and recall how many people you see in the phillippines with fans, trying to fight the heat by flapping their fans back and forth. now, LV comes out with a line of fans for a non-profit organization called OrphanAid Africa. the cause is good (that's why i lvoe lv!!). however, the fans cost 400 EUR ~$542 USD. i'm pretty sure these fans are for the hot and posh, but i know i would look really dumb (and really asian) with a fan in america.

waterproof.

i'm super amazed by this luggage bag. we all worry about our leather getting wet which would cause it to wear out very quickly, but DANG. a bag to float on water?? that would be wonderful in cases where the plane crashes on water and your wonderful monogram waterproof canvas is just floating around. hahaha. unfortunately the plane would sink... okay. my imagination is running wild. overall, this bag is wonderful especially on rainy days. however, is it scratch proof? because luggage handlers are very... careless.

btw, just to make it clear. that's not my elbow. lol

perforated.

i'm absolutely DYING for these... they're unique & and perfect for spring/summer. i just want some fierce cut-out boots. lol talk about a nice transition from fall/winter to spring/summer. the only ones i can find are the ones at ALDO and of course, aldo with it's overbearing price and cheap quality, there's no way i'm going to buy them from there. i shall keep searching.....

okay, so i've been dying to get jeans similar to the balmain ones. of course, f21 is the major source of cheap designer imitations. i couldn't resist. however, the image does no justice to these jeans.

louis vuitton released their f/w 2010 collection yesterday. i'm just.... amazed. watch here.
i'm so glad there was a cold front because it made the show much more enjoyable.

alligator.

the louis vuitton neverfull is always perfect if you love packing your entire world in your bag. however, if you want to take it to another level, this is the bag. if i was multi-millionaire, this is pocket change, but there's no way i would drop $32,300 for this bag (any time soon :P). if i ever see this on someone, it's definitely a show stopper.

on a side note, i'm so sick of girls on campus mistreating their lv bags. they stuff their bags with their notebooks, textbooks, etc. it breaks my heart seeing the vachetta all dirty from their artificially tanned hands. but i love seeing a guy with a lv bag. you can tell they know how to treat a lv bag well (they probably paid it with their own money too!).

on a bright note.. i'm thinking of getting the damier neverfull.... it's more reasonable compared to the neverfull exotic. lol

death or glory.

okay, so ed hardy is a bit flamboyant, but whatever. it was on sale, and i needed a hoodie for class because it gets so freaking cold inside sometimes! it's so nice and soft. i wore it on the bus back to atx. good thing i did because it was FREEZING in the bus.

i've been DYING to get my hands on these jeffrey campbells... but they were finally on sale at nordstrom! i love my SA. she always gives me the best deals. :] they're soooo comfy, and the fringe isn't outrageous. maybe i should wear it with my fringe bag. ;P
last but not least to my splurge this weekend, my addition to my lovely scarf collection. i love f21 and their decently priced scarves.
