one of the reasons i'm obsessed with balmain this spring 2009 (other than their fabulous jeans which i would die for) is their studded crystal sandals. watching them shine on the runway just entranced me. of course... this babies are 1475 euros ~$2062 US dollars. i know... insane, right? once something hot hits the runway, affordable names such as bebe, steve madden quickly produce their own "balmain-inspired" studded crystal sandals. however, those brands FAILED horribly. luckily, when i was browsing the shoe section of nordstrom (i only buy my shoes from there, learned my lesson from buying shoes at other departments/boutiques), my eyes and hands quickly fell upon these.....
jeffrey campbell's version of the balmain studded crystal sandals. i promise you, they look better in real life. i wanted to buy them right then and there. the price, you ask? just $165. reasonable compared to the actual balmain sandals. these beauties are very reasonable compared to the pieces of shit produced by steve madden & bebe (i'm not even going to post their versions because they're THAT horrible). however, i'm a little iffy on getting these because they are kinda OTT, but i love them because they're show stoppers compared to the ordinary sandals. i'm the kind of person who's into shiny and studs. ;] kudos to jeffrey campbell. you are a shoe genius. <3
